Grayson Newland

Engineering Manager

Grayson began his career with Winston in 2013 as part of the Engineering team and now brings over a decade of experience in engineering and manufacturing. His career has spanned from CAD Designer to Engineering Manager, as early on in his Winston journey he was selected for an exclusive leadership development program that shaped his ability to lead technical teams and drive innovation. He later helped establish a new Manufacturing Engineering division, where he guided cross-functional initiatives and delivered critical projects during the pandemic.
In 2021, Grayson broadened his expertise as an Operations Manager for a smaller agency, gaining hands-on experience in strategic management, financials, and emerging technologies such as AI and automation. In early 2024, he returned to Winston to manage all engineering functions outside of the R&D Division—including design, mechanical, manufacturing, electrical, and software—providing technical direction and cross-disciplinary leadership.
Known for blending a logic-driven mindset with a people-first approach, Grayson is passionate about developing future leaders while advancing engineering capabilities that support long-term growth.
When he isn’t at Winston, you’ll likely find him working on drums at his home with his wife and daughter by his side.
